Ever heard of a series called Fearless by Francine Pascal?
Well, it's about a girl, Gaia Moore, who was born without the fear gene. Her mom was murdered when she was young and her dad, a CIA agent, left her that same night for fear that she would be caught in more crossfire.
Her dad trained her well so she could handle herself when she just jumped into situations due to her lack of fear. She is an expert in every martial art and an expert markswoman, although she thinks guns are a low way to take someone out.
She spends most of her time in Washington Square Park, either playing chess with Zolov, the oldest grand master of chess she knows, or she's out late at night teaching the night predators a lesson. Don't underestimate a weak LOOKING girl.
But when she's not doing her usually misfit hobbys, she's defending her life and others from Loki's agents.
Loki, her psychopathic Uncle and evil twin of her father, wants her to be his daughter and his brother to be dead. She does not know this or that he has put her through many tasks and some of his deranged agents such as Ella, one of her legal guardians, wants her dead because Ella feels competition with Loki. Gaia feels alone and plain out aloof.
Even when she finds certain things that make her life livable, Ed, her first friend, Mary, her Best friend, and Sam, her newfound unbelievable boyfriend, they are taken away from her by Loki.
What is one to do?
